TWICON...Day Two...

Okay, well day two has come and gone. Having a great time, but I will admit that the convention does have some problems. We don't regret being here...have loved (LOVED) parts of it...but the organization has been a little lacking. We are so tired of lines! And there are some RUDE staff members! I know it is the first one, so we are trying to just go with it and not complain though. We even heard an ugly story about one of the actual movie cast (we won't say who!) not being very nice to a fan. But mostly everyone has been exceedingly nice.
So our morning consisted of waiting in a LONG line for hours to get the 100 Monkeys to sign our shirts we bought from their booth yesterday. They were very nice...pretty funny too! We spent most of the rest of the day in musical performances. We saw the Bella Cullen Project, The Twilight Girls, Sage and Josiah Leming, and the Mitch Hansen Band. Have to say the Mitch Hansen band was our favorite. But my daughter loved Sage. They all put on a GREAT show. We were even filmed for the next Mitch Hansen Band music video. Thought it was neat...but not sure I want to show up in a video! UGH! But it is very possible, as we were all standing right up at the stage. After the performance we got to meet them, get pictures, Tshirts, and autographs. And they LOVED our little Pocket Edward and Bella dolls! SO funny when they started making them dance, then fight each other. They were even up for a little photo with them for the blog! THANKS guys!!!!
After a great Mexican dinner at a local restaurant we got back in a LONG LONG line to get into the 100 Monkeys concert. We have met some GREAT people on this trip. Being around this many obsessed fans makes us feel a little more sane...but just a little! And Pocket Edward has recieved so much attention. Hope it doesn't go to his little plastic head! Before the concert we met some girls from www.twilight20somethings.com They were hilarious! Had to get their picture taken with our little dolls...even called him "Baby Edward"...not sure what to think of that name. After all, we are trying to convince ourselves he's not THAT much younger than us...please don't put images of him being a "baby" in our heads!!!! Ha!
Pocket Edward loved the concert and so did we. Sorry the pictures are so bad though! No flash photography allowed, so they all show up blurry. I so should have brought my professional work camera...that 1.2 zoom could have done the job! But with my luck, the $6000 lens would have knocked around and broken. Oh well...we were there. Got to stand about 10 feet away from Jackson Rathbone. Wish I was a little taller...I seemed to be behind every amazon in the place.
Back at the hotel now. SO exhausted...sorry if the blog is kinda "rambling"! I need sleep!!! See you tomorrow night after the "Volturi Ball"...
